Opening night : Amphitryo + Célia Kaméni – Méduse

20:00 | Tickets

Amphitryo

Throughout the pieces, most of which are inspired by great Mediterranean myths, the listener can be lulled into a mood that is at times minimalist, festive or melancholy, with refreshing music on the borders of jazz and various types of traditional music, between writing and improvisation.

The trio’s original and atypical orchestration allows for a wide range of combinations, colourful sound couplings and singular oppositions, all in a quest for acoustic balance. Cheval de Troie opens the door to a daring and atypical musical epic based on the great myths.

Célia Kaméni – Méduse

Vocalist, performer and composer Célia Kameni was nominated for the Victoires du Jazz in her own name for the first time in 2022, even though she had not yet produced a solo album. But it was in 2020 that she met Yael Naïm, with whom she began to imagine and build her first personal opus project. The compositions in her repertoire are the fruit of her own creativity as well as collaborations with Yael Naïm, Sarah Mikovski, Charles Amblard and NotaBene. She has made the bold choice of composing for a string ensemble without drums.

  • Célia Kaméni : vocals, compositions | “Génération SPEDIDAM” artist
  • Giani Caserotto : guitar
  • Juliette Serrad : cello
  • Thibault Gomez : piano
